3D Cupcake Giftcard Holder

Hello!! Hope you are having a wonderful week. Today I wanted to share a 3D cupcake giftcard holder my sister asked me to make for a friend of hers. I got the idea from the following YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkVm1Tif6gI . I cut the flowers using my Cricut Expression and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge. Patterned paper is from Stampin Up! I bought the rest of the materials (solid color cardstock, ribbon, styrofoam ball, wooden bead for the cherry, pearls and glitter) at Michaels. Hope you like it.

More V-day cards!

Hello! I have been pretty busy since the week before V-day. First my son got strep throat and was very sick for a week but thank God he is back to normal. Then I have been working like a maniac for the past two weeks but really wanted to share these three V-day cards I made. The one with the hedgehog I made it for my son. The one with the Chihuahua was for my husband. He loved it since it looks exactly as our fur baby! Finally the third one I made it for my male friends who are the proud parents of a little Yorkie called Bailey. I used the Cricut Four Legged Friends cartridge to cut the doggies and the Create a Critter cartridge to cut the hedgehog. I will update this post with a list of materials and tools later today... time to go to bed. Thanks for looking!

Valentine's Day Card

Hi there, this is a card I made using my Cricut Expression. The owl cut is from the Cricut Give a Hoot cartridge and the word OWL is from Cricut Designer's Calendar cartridge. I used Cricut Design Studio to weld the word. I made these for my female friends and will be making different designs for my male friends and my dear husband. Hope you like it!

Chocoflan Cake

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at my friends' place. I was in charge of cooking two turkeys and made some gravy and stuffing. My friends prepared the side dishes, delicious garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni salad.

With the help of my husband, we also prepared a delicious Chocoflan Cake (see photos). The recipe can be found at http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/chocoflan-112915.aspx. It was so easy to do and the best thing of all, it was so yummy!

On Christmas, we opened presents in the morning and my little one played with the toys Santa brought to him. In the afternoon, my friends came over to my place. For dinner, I prepared some delicious Tortas de Pavo (turkey breast sandwiches) using my MIL's recipe. For dessert we had Key Lime-Pineapple Pie and Apple Marshmallow salad. After dinner we watched Despicable Me and played Monopoly. We had a great time!
