Chocoflan Cake

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at my friends' place. I was in charge of cooking two turkeys and made some gravy and stuffing. My friends prepared the side dishes, delicious garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni salad.

With the help of my husband, we also prepared a delicious Chocoflan Cake (see photos). The recipe can be found at http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/chocoflan-112915.aspx. It was so easy to do and the best thing of all, it was so yummy!

On Christmas, we opened presents in the morning and my little one played with the toys Santa brought to him. In the afternoon, my friends came over to my place. For dinner, I prepared some delicious Tortas de Pavo (turkey breast sandwiches) using my MIL's recipe. For dessert we had Key Lime-Pineapple Pie and Apple Marshmallow salad. After dinner we watched Despicable Me and played Monopoly. We had a great time!

  1. Omg, I was scrolling through your blog (very cute things you create by the way) and saw this recipe, my son loved this cake when my neighbor's mom made this which I never heard of before, (they are from north region of Mexico). I have made flan, and have a cookbook with tons of different flavors, but never this one.
Anyway, I recently made a layout of our chihuahua if you want to check her out, she's my only girl. I am your follower now, and sorry for the long post.

  2. Hi TheLastOfNine, thanks for your comment!! I love to read comments as nice as yours. I have relatives in the US/Mexico Border and this cake is quite popular over there. It is fairly simple to make and the end result is SO YUMMY!! My family and friends love it. Take care,
